Marvin Kent creates modern, mixed, contemporary, abstract paintings in a variety of shapes and sizes. My artworks fuses with the design, rich texture, color, dynamic and proportion to complement its purpose. Abstract is vast in concept and expression.
Abstract painting is infinite, no attachments, no guidelines, no age and no corners. Just all fun. From 2010, I enjoyed playing with the acrylic paints on the canvas. This experience is like a new stepping stone for me and it’s like a new level of expression and my maturity as an artist.

The Reverie | I'm looking forward for a solo exhibit and a group exhibit in collaboration with the Davao artists. My vision, is to see that one of these days the people of Davao would know how to appreciate more on paintings. And to see each households own a real painting from our local artists. I hope I can encourage young local artists to participating in this goal. Like other artists, I'm also hoping of having my own gallery. |
The pilot-campaign "Art Adds Life" is Marvin Kent's initiative to teach young kids on how to paint and to show to them it is fun and it is cool to learn new stuff. With friends and family, there are few kids who joined the one-day event last April 2011. It's one way in teaching them on how to make a difference and bring smile to their lives after the session.
